A finish or two

These corellas have been visiting the big gum trees next door

Lots of chatter was happening, I don't know if they were looking for nesting sites or food.

I finished sewing these knitted squares together and did a few rows of crochet around the edge, it has gone to the chemist for the KOGO collection.

The quilt top the girls helped me with last weekend, has it's borders and is now ready for a backing and quilting.

I walked to the PO and back this morning, it started out sunny but very windy

only a few pelicans around today

I spied this Eastern rosella up in a gum tree

and this little guy was busy getting bugs next to a puddle

the weather packed up on the way home, the clouds came over and the wind got colder.

Last night because I had many things to be doing I decided to start this stitchery
I have had it since May this year! It has been sitting waiting on the sewing desk, now it is being done and on the couch!
I had better be off and measure and cut some wadding.
Happy stitching.

  1. That stitchery looks interesting Sue & your quilt looks wonderful. You achieve so much it seems. Love all your photos - I well remember the great birdlife when I would stay with my Aunt in Victoria. It used to fascinate me so much. Happy weekend Sue xx
