This was what was gathered after half and hour of 14 people gathering the rubbish they could find.
Back at the retreat
I made a Anthology block and started the second, but I hadn't cut enough fabric so that one will have to be finished at home.
These blocks are in a quilt top, despite me making a mistake, a border to add and something on the green block to be done at home too.
Ingrid gave me these blocks quite a long time ago so I am happy to have put them together.
I have put together other blocks I have been given but need to make one more block, my counting was wrong at home and I am one short
I am off to sew a little more
Happy stitching.
You are getting a lot done - love the blue/purple one. xx
ReplyDeleteStill more great stitching, despite being unable to complete on the day. Aren’t people grubs!! Good on you all for the clean up.
ReplyDeleteKeeping busy - isn't it annoying when you are caught short??
ReplyDeletelove the colours of the last one
Does everyone at retreat go geocaching??
Isn't it also sad about the rubbish that is dumped - and even a trollery - lazy "people".
Keep enjpying!
I love your retreats! Your clean up cache was a great thing to do.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt with green sashing. Glad to hear you are retreating!!! You go girl!
ReplyDeleteShame you were short. Well done on the clean up.....grubs! Enjoy the rest of your retreat xx
ReplyDeleteThat was a lovely idea helping to clean up. Love the last quilt's colours in particular and your other one is looking good. There musn't be many more Anthology blocks left.
ReplyDeleteSew very productive. Love the purple quilt top.
ReplyDeleteI just hate it when people cannot pick up their rubbish. The quilts look good.
