WIP's

Thought I would put up a couple of photos of work in progress
trying to find the whispy bits of the invisible thread...

more over here...they feel like they are everywhere!

not the best photo but now the kookaburra quilt is quilted, did some FRQ on the main body of the quilt and down the leaves, undecided if I will do more or not....

Girl Guide/Scout wall hanging finished....

and I have finished a mug rug...no Shez you are safe Lol!! This is for one of the Wednesday Quilting ladies who had a birthday recently but kept it very quiet....but we found out!! Will get the others to sign on the back tonight.
Happy sewing!

FNWF

I am late updating for FNWF as I was at the beach for the weekend and no internet, but I managed to get a couple of things done
a colleague at work wanted a small wallhanging of her Girl Guide (actually I think it said Girl Scout) badge, so I enlarged it on the photocopier, traced the pattern onto the fabric, painted in the badge and then FRQ'd around the painting...now for the trimming and binding!.....

and I had a go at two poppy blocks....they are needed here and they appealed to me...they need a black circle in the middle so have to get to that soon.
Hope everyone  enjoyed their FNWF and you can find what other people did here.... many thanks to Cheryll.
Happy sewing.
