Yesterday

was sit and sew, first for the year at Bellarine Quilters, we had some wonderful show and tell
Dianne's mystery quilt from last year

Christine's light house quilt for her brother

Rae had a central photo from her holiday to France last year and surrounded it with Ricky Tims inspired corners

Margaret's stack and slash quilt top

Irene's version of stack and slash

Margaret's teddy applique

Carleen's quilt for her grandson..made with 10 minute blocks...we all laugh at this block as it always takes us more than 10 mins to make!! But it makes a wonderful quilt.

When the Supervisor and I were out walking I noticed this on the side of the path, poor Roger is no more!

Looking over to the yacht club

Oops more show and tell, Jans quilt front

and back

The bed runner is quilted, Joan and I both had a play and both learned lots!

the fabric has some beautiful images

Love the owls.
I had better make a move and clean the house, then I hope to get to some applique.
Happy stitching.

Bed runner

The last few days I have been putting together a bed runner and backing
this will be the backing as I don't have enough black to make it all plain

this is the bed runner front, beautiful fabrics from Canada.

and I digress to show you the flowers on the back deck!

The roses are beautiful and all scented. So nice to sit near.

This afternoon I went to see Joan and we had a play on her new quilting machine, she had not done free motion before but now is a convert! Yay!!

We had a little play with the waterfall

Joans little dog Mitsy was there to help, at one stage I dropped the pincushion and Mitsy grabbed it and was off..a chase to get it back followed!!

And on the dog theme we went to #1 sons place yesterday afternoon and I got to play with Hank their new puppy, Hank is 9 months old. He loves sitting on your knee!
Now I am off to sit on the couch and be a blob! And to enjoy a Sloe Gin!
Happy evening.
